hey suli sorry to hear of your experience - glad the dr raj has been shown up for being untrustworthy so many doctors get away with worse - it is so awful that so many end up addicted to these blooming drugs seems to me many dr's are just glorified drug pushers - take care and glad you have left a comment love and rainbows miranda

found this site by chance. I was treated by Dr Raj Persaud. He was very greedy, very expensive, didn't take a medical history but was keen to put me on strong drugs. His 'advice' landed me in a mess and then he ran a mile. His only interest was money. He was arrogant, and manipulative. This site highlights dangers we must all be aware off. I am bruised by my experience with him and live with the affects.

Good site. I have recovered from Bi-polar despite the efforts of the mental health system, not because of it. I am a service user activist, an expert by experience, and a service user consultant. And, I am campagning tirelessly for improvements starting in the South London area.

Hi, Just had to say what a brilliant informative site you have created Miranda ! I too have had a long fight with Bi-Polar depression and anxiety and throughly agree with your goals in live; particularly to break down the stigma. Recently I set up a forum called "FoRUM" run for service users and carers by service users and carers. We worker across Surrey Heath (Surrey) and N E Hampshire. we provide information and meeting points as well as representing users and carers at Stakeholder and steering group level;lobbying the needs and wishes of people in the mental health arena. It is a shame you live in Kent (no offence,i used to live in Kent during the 70's!) as I would really like to invite you to one of our public meetings . I think we would be very inspired by the work of this blogg site. If you feel the need contact provided below. Best wishes Mr Perry Clifton Secretary N E Hants& Surrey Heath carers and users of mental health services. Surrey Heath Service User Advocate - voluntary [email protected] Tele. 07970 761057

In mental health in a capitalist system, when care is as it must thereafter be a market force, love is debunked into the chargeable quantum.

Philip Dixon-Phillips heard a BBC Radio 4 programme referring to 'medical records' - and thought ''hurrah'' we're onto the debate about 'implied- consent ' {for what feels like all and sundry to read all about your medical history as far as I'm concerned} again. The more publicity the topic of what are we going to do about serious intrusion into our 'private lives' gets the more the possibilty of us seeing a change - from just letting intrusion into our private lives by stealth continue unabated and instead to see some constraints put on all that intrusion. Please are their commentators reading 'bruiseduk' who are able to add weight to this important debate. Thanks for your pages here. Keep it going Canny for it's a useful site. Philip.

www.justice4kate.com Hi Everybody, Great site Miranda, all power to you. Can I please ask all the peeps here to support our protest that we are holding outside St George & Tolworth MHT HQ, (South London), on Friday November 28th 2008 with this protest being in support of Tabi, (see message below), and all others abused by the system. There are details on our web site and we have our own Facebook protest group, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=34496223162. All support, in what ever way, appreciated. Highest regards, Phil

Your an inspiration to all mentally divergent peeps that dont accept what they are told by people that were only fed facts from books and not expereicned it them selfs, or that live in total denail that telepathy and much much more really exsists....Proud of you little miss Thats why Im made I believe and its the easiest sublimation to expalin why minds are not classed as normal, why does eveyone else ignore me... Change the system of care- the carers must hate lying and tripping when they could help properly

Thanks for a wonderful breath of fresh air in a particularly "stale" environment. Having worked in the caring professions for over 35 years, I've seen both sides of the coin. I've been hospitalised with both physical medical conditions and am myself attempting to introduce a new "therapy" into the UK - that of Psychiatric Support Dogs. Wishing you everything you wish yourselves - ~Dave Popham

RE: " Big Up All Nutters". Thank you bruiseduk for publishing the graffiti notice 'Big Up All Nutters' - which will hopefully encourage your readship to contribute more of the same. Having just read bruiseduk's whistleblower page may I promote the idea of trades unions (such as 'Unison') setting up little coiteries of both user and carer groups like there are black groups, womens groups and gay groups within union bodies. I believe if such a facility were offered then whistleblowing opportunities would open up massively. Some structure is desperately needed because far too much gagging and bullying of whistleblowers goes on currently. All the best for the future development of this bruised uk web-site. (It's an inspiration to all users and carers no doubt.) Philip.
